John 9:35 NKJV
“Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when He had found him, He said to him, “Do you believe in the Son of God?””
In Luke 15, JESUS CHRIST told 3 parables; 3-7 tells us of the parable of the Lost Sheep, 8-10 tells us of the parable of the Lost Coin, and 11-31 tells us of the parable of the Lost Son.
There is a common thread, theme among all three parables; all three have a similar structure, in which something is identified as ‘lost’, there is a searching, that which was lost is found, and the end result is rejoicing.
Luke15: 3-7 NKJV
“Then Jesus told them this parable: “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’
We also see a progression through the three parables from the relationship of one in a hundred (Luke 15:1–7), to one in ten (Luke 15:8–10), to one in one (Luke 15:11–32); either ways; all ways; JESUS goes after us; demonstrating God’s love for each individual and His personal attentiveness toward all humanity.
JESUS didn’t just talk the talk, HE walked and lived the talk and indeed HE is our perfect model.
John 9 tells us about an encounter JESUS had with a blind man from birth and how HE healed him.
Due to this, you would think that the Pharisees, people would be happy for him and rejoice with him, seeing as he was blind since birth but for the first time ever, he could see; but no; their reaction was the complete opposite.
John 9:34 NKJV
“They answered and said to him, “You were completely born in sins, and are you teaching us?” And they cast him out.”
The religious leaders treated this man terribly.
They abused him (they reviled him).
They insulted him (You were completely born in sins).
They rejected him (they cast him out).
JESUS CHRIST heard this and you know what HE did? HE went looking for him, HE went looking for that one man that was rejected, and HE found him.
The religious leaders rejected the man whom Jesus healed. JESUS then made it a point to meet him and receive him.
John 9:35 NKJV
“Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when He had found him, He said to him, “Do you believe in the Son of God?””
Just pause and think about it, this is who JESUS is, the good shepherd, the one who is always chasing after us, seeking us until we are found, saved and restored.
And when HE found him; HE gave him life eternal.
The blind man was more than whom JESUS healed, he was one of JESUS’s sheep and a member of the fold, Like the good shepherd HE is, he went after the lost blind man. Like the shepherd, Jesus finds the blind man when he has been cast out (John 9:35).
And when he found him; JESUS provided for the man born blind much more than sight–he provided for him what he, as the good shepherd, gives all of his sheep–the protection of his fold (John 10:16), the blessing of needed pasture (John 10:9), and the gift of abundant life (John 10:10).
Same wise, JESUS is looking for us, chasing after us;
Ezekiel 34:11 NKJV
“‘For thus says the Lord God: “Indeed I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out.”
HE isn’t looking for you to condemn you, JESUS never ever condemn us, know this for sure; HE is looking for us, chasing after me and you to restore us, bring us back and reconcile us back to GOD, our ALMIGHTY FATHER.
John 8:10-11 NKJV
“When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.””
And I’m sorry if you have been church hurt, cos as we see above; GOD doesn’t condemn, that not HIS character or a representation of who HE IS.
CHURCH HURT
I’m sorry if you have been church hurt, if the people that were supposed to guide you, lead you in love, shamed you and rejected you and judged you; I truly am🙏
That’s not the character of GOD, GOD himself condemns this behaviour.
GOD HIMSELF in Ezekiel 34 spoke against this behaviour and called it out:
‘Thus says the Lord God to the shepherds: “Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flocks? You eat the fat and clothe yourselves with the wool; you slaughter the fatlings, but you do not feed the flock. The weak you have not strengthened, nor have you healed those who were sick, nor bound up the broken, nor brought back what was driven away, nor sought what was lost; but with force and cruelty you have ruled them. So they were scattered because there was no shepherd; and they became food for all the beasts of the field when they were scattered. My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and on every high hill; yes, My flock was scattered over the whole face of the earth, and no one was seeking or searching for them.””
“Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will require My flock at their hand; I will cause them to cease feeding the sheep, and the shepherds shall feed themselves no more; for I will deliver My flock from their mouths, that they may no longer be food for them.””
I just felt led to divert a bit (or not) and address this, GOD sees you, HE really, truly understand, HE knows and understand your pain; cos HE himself was rejected when HE was here on earth; hurt by people, religious leaders, even one of HIS disciples betrayed HIM and gave HIM up to be put to death and persecuted, so trust GOD, HE sees you and understand, but HE still doesn’t want you to remain lost; that’s why HE HIMSELF is seeking you out now.
Ezekiel 34:11-16 NKJV
“‘For thus says the Lord God: “Indeed I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out. As a shepherd seeks out his flock on the day he is among his scattered sheep, so will I seek out My sheep and deliver them from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and dark day. And I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land; I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, in the valleys and in all the inhabited places of the country. I will feed them in good pasture, and their fold shall be on the high mountains of Israel. There they shall lie down in a good fold and feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel. I will feed My flock, and I will make them lie down,” says the Lord God. “I will seek what was lost and bring back what was driven away, bind up the broken and strengthen what was sick; but I will destroy the fat and the strong, and feed them in judgment.””
All you need to do is accept the Father’s love, accept JESUS as your LORD and PERSONAL SAVIOUR.
Believe this first, the truth that yes JESUS did leave Heaven to come down to earth to look for us, for me, for you, to save me, my soul from eternal damnation and restore me back to GOD, our father.
Because we were as Sheep without a shepherd scatter easily, we wandered into dangerous territory, and become lost.
Isaiah 53:6 NKJV
“All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.”
Believe and declare that JESUS came to earth, found me, found you, and HE took the punishment and all the consequences of me straying.
John 10:16 NKJV
“And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.”
JESUS CHRIST, the perfect Shepherd, layed down HIS life for you, me; the lost sheep.
John 10:15 NKJV
“As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.”
The Bible even tells us in Luke 15:7 that “there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.”
YOU matter, YOU are the reason why JESUS came to the earth, to die for you, bear all the consequences of your sins, to save and redeem you.
It truly wasn’t easy for JESUS; HE endured pain, shame, suffering, HE, JESUS CHRIST; the only one on earth that was without sin, not one sin; was made all sin because he bore all my sins, and your sins, but HE did it without grumbling, full of love and compassion.
Isaiah 53:4-9 NKJV
“Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment, And who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken. And they made His grave with the wicked— But with the rich at His death, Because He had done no violence, Nor was any deceit in His mouth.”
GOD really really is seeking you beloved, HE really is.
GOD himself says in Ezekiel 34:11-16 “Indeed I Myself will search for you, My sheep and seek you out. As a shepherd seeks out his flock on the day he is among his scattered sheep, so will I seek out you, My sheep and deliver yoy from all the places where you were scattered on a cloudy and dark day. And I will bring you out from the peoples and gather you from the countries, and will bring you to your own land to dwell with me;
I will feed you on the mountains of Israel, in the valleys and in all the inhabited places of the country. I will feed you in good pasture, and your fold shall be on the high mountains of Israel. There you shall lie down in a good fold and feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel. I will feed you, My flock, and I will make you lie down,” says the Lord God. “I will seek you that was lost and bring you back that was driven away, bind you up the broken and strengthen you that what was sick;..””
Again; JESUS is really chasing after you and seeking you, calling after you; so beloved, today by the help and leading of the HOLY SPIRIT, answer and yield your life to JESUS CHRIST🙏
Ezekiel 34:16 NKJV
““I will seek what was lost and bring back what was driven away, bind up the broken and strengthen what was sick; but I will destroy the fat and the strong, and feed them in judgment.””

Let’s us pray together.
JESUS the good shepherd, I believe YOU are the SON OF GOD, the good shepherd and that YOU came down from heaven to the earth to look for me and chase after me, and die for my sin.
I acknowledge that I am a sinner, I acknowledge that I cannot save myself, I acknowledge and believe that YOU died on the cross of Calvary for all my sins; I acknowledge and believe that YOU bore all the consequences and punishment of all my sins; YOU paid the price to redeem me, to save me, to restore me back to GOD.
I believe this, I believe in YOU JESUS and accept YOU as my LORD and PERSONAL SAVIOUR; I believe that the blood YOU shed on the cross of Calvary has washed away all my sins and I am made free and saved from all sins and death.
I believe that YOU did die for me and rose again.
And so I shout THANK YOU JESUS FOR SAVING ME, I RECEIVE THE NEW LIFE YOU HAVE GIVEN ME, YOUR LIFE, MY LORD JESUS. YOU ARE MY GOOD SHEPHERD. THANK YOU JESUS COS ALL MY SINS HAVE BEEN FORGIVEN, THANKING YOU JESUS COS I AM SAVED, AND VICTORIOUS IN YOU. HALLELUJAH, AMEN.
